Accessibility Statement
JG Marquees Ltd is committed to making its website accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of ability or technology. We want everyone to be able to find out about our marquees and get in touch with ease.
Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These internationally recognised guidelines help make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, hearing, cognitive and motor impairments.
Measures we have taken
To make this website more accessible, we have:
- Used clean, semantic HTML so the page structure is clear to screen readers and assistive technology
- Provided a "Skip to content" link so keyboard users can bypass the navigation
- Made the site navigable using a keyboard alone, with visible focus styles on links and buttons
- Added descriptive alternative text to meaningful images
- Chosen colours, including our navy and red brand palette, with readable contrast against their backgrounds
- Used responsive layouts so the site works on phones, tablets and desktops, and supports text resizing and zoom
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some areas may not be fully accessible:
- Embedded map — where we display a Google Maps embed, parts of that third-party content are outside our control and may not fully meet accessibility standards. Our full address is always provided in text so you do not need to rely on the map.
- Some older images may have limited alternative text, which we are working to improve.
